Law Bulletin Media compiles this list of outstanding lawyers by surveying other lawyers in the state, asking them which of their peers they would recommend to a family member or friend if they could not take a case within their area of law or geographic region. Miranda L. Patricia L. Gifford: Patricia previously spent eight years practicing plaintiff’s injury work in Chicago before starting at Spiros Law in 2014. She is currently a Senior Associate and specializes in nursing home and medical malpractice cases. Patricia’s unique dedication to her clients makes her a true asset to our firm and has allowed her to secure over $25 million in both nursing home and medical malpractice cases.
Andrew J. Purcell: Andy joined Spiros Law in 2015 after practicing for 12 years, seven years as a partner at a national law firm in Chicago where he worked on cases which involved industrial accidents, electrocutions, auto/trucking accidents, fires, explosions, and building collapses. He now serves as a courtroom lawyer to clients in both the Kankakee and Central Illinois areas and has recovered desirable settlements for his clients in numerous cases.

Individuals recognized in this category are under the age of 40 or have practiced for no more than 10 years. Less than 2% of licensed lawyers in each state are nominated, and one Spiros Law, P.C. lawyer received this honor, Matthew J. Duco.
Matthew J. Duco: Matt is an Associate Attorney at Spiros Law where he primarily works on personal injury, workers’ compensation, and insurance coverage/liability cases. Matt has extensive experience working on complex lawsuits, where he assisted in securing multi-million-dollar settlements in multiple cases. As an associate attorney, Matt takes great satisfaction in the opportunity to help people in need and have a positive impact on his client’s lives.
